Griffey has never played in a World Series. He might get his chance. 38 year old Griffey was picked up by the Sox on Thursday. The Sox aquired Griffey and money for reliever Nick Masset and Triple-A second baseman Danny Richar. Griffey hit his 600th homerun this year and hopefully he can cap off this great year with a World Series Title.
